MINUTES OF THE 2nd MEETING

To sum up:

CROATIA

This document contains minutes of the 2nd transnational meeting of the Erasmus + project “Researching from the school library to improve the environment”. The meeting was held from 21st to 25th September 2016 in Slavonski Brod.
Project registered number: 2015-1-ES01-KA219-016063

Prezi about Croatia
The presentation was held by one of the members of the Croatian team (Antun Vukasović) about Croatia and about its famous sights.

Mobility Tools and dissemination platform
The topic was opened by the Croatian coordinator asking the rest of the teams if they have any problems accessing the Mobility Tools. The Italian and the Croatian team have trouble accessing it. The problem with the Croats is that the wrong coordinator is named and the National Agency will be contacted so it can be corrected. The ECAS tutorial will be sent to Italian team so that they can access Mobility Tools.
The Romanian coordinator has mentioned that she has access but that she can’t upload the materials.
The Spanish coordinator has accessed ECAS and showed the other teams how to upload the materials and how the page is supposed to look like when filled with information.
It is very important that everyone can upload the information on time and not to wait for the end of the project.

Implementation plan
The Romanian coordinator has explained that she has received a monitoring questionnaire (two of them) and that they are asking her to make an implementation plan for the two whole years of the project or to process the two years separately. The Romanian coordinator will have to do the whole implementation by herself because no other team has gotten that document from their own National Agencies.

The other teams have done the implementation plan as part of their interim reports.

Interim reports
The teams have said that not one of them has had any problems with the interim reports.

The Romanian team has not sent their report because it is due at the end of October and after that they should get the rest of their financial aid (40 %).

Workshop in Hungary – 8th to 13th November 2016
The Hungarian coordinator has held a presentation about the workshop in Hungary in November. He has described the activities by day and has given the other teams the necessary travel information.

The Hungarian coordinator has asked of the coordinators of other teams to make a 10-minute presentation about our country and our schools for the Hungarian pupils. And of course, everyone is required to bring the presentations about the Water Consumption workshop activities.

Activities of the Water Consumption workshop
The partners have discussed in detail the activities on Water Consumption workshop. Everything is clear on the Initial and Final questionnaire task.

We will celebrate World Ocean’s Day as planned, either in September or in October, depending on each school.

The next task is Making a rain gauge. The teams will measure the quantity of rainfall in October. The partners will exchange video tutorials and regular ones between themselves so it is easier to make the instrument.

Inventing a Collective story “The Rain Man” is the following task. The story will be either written or made into a picture book or whatever else the partners’ creative imagination may come up with. The story will be published in PDF if possible and it was decided that the Czech team will collect the stories from all the partners and make it into one unit.

The partners will then research stories, poems and chants in their own language and write them down. The partners will also write a short description of everything that is written down in English.

Visit to a water source / plant and making leaflets was clear to everyone.

The teams seem to have a clear image on how to do a laboratory experiment of the water. Even the partners who teach the youngest pupils (kindergarten) have no problem coming up with ideas.

Making a homemade water filter has needed no discussion and if needed the partners can find tutorials on internet to help them make it.

Dissemination and assessment as done so far.

Workshop in Turkey
After an extensive discussion the partners have made a very difficult decision concerning the workshop in Turkey that was supposed to be held in March. The majority of partners feel that the political and overall situation in Turkey is currently very volatile and that there is no possible that the workshop can be held there.

It was agreed by all that the activities for Renewable energy will be carried out as planned.

The partners have agreed on two best and simplest possibilities on how to resolve the situation:

    – the partners will take seven days to discuss with their respective colleagues and head teachers to be the hosts (for the second time) of the workshops and let the other partners know their decision (Spain and Italy have the most promising outcome at this moment).
    – if there is no other solution and no country is able to host the meeting (workshop) twice then the whole meeting (workshop) is cancelled and the money is given back to the National Agencies

Various
The Czech has let the other partners know that the dates for their meeting will be decided later on, perhaps during one of the working sessions in Hungary in November.

ADDENUN

TO MINUTES OF 2ND TRANSNATIONAL MEETING OF COORDINATION HELD IN SLAVONSKI BROD (CROATIA) FROM 21TH TO 25TH SEPTEMBRE 2016.
After the second transnational meeting of coordination was finished, all partners checked with their staff and headmasters the possibility of holding the workshop scheduled in Turkey. It means that one of the partners should hold twice the rest of partners.
Firstly, it seemed that Spain or Italy had the most chance to do it. Finally, it was decided that Italy will host the workshop “Renewable energies” in March 2017. I behalf of myself, as General Coordinator, and all national coordinator, I sign this addendum to minutes.

In Granada (Spain) on Sunday 9th October 2016.
